This portable booster seat allows kids in booster seats to easily bring their safety seat with them, eliminating the need to haul bulky seats through airports or into rental cars.
After testing out this product with my own kids, I’m happy to report that I love the ease of use and the included safety features.

Why Should You Purchase the mifold Booster Seat?
One of the most annoying things that I've had to navigate while traveling with two kids is the car seat.
I want to keep my kids safe first and foremost.
However, that doesn't stop me from cursing furiously in my head every time I have to contort myself in unnatural positions to install or uninstall the seats.
Plus, even when you get to check a car seat for free at the airport, the process of hauling a massive booster or car seat to the check-in counter is anything but fun.
On the ground at your location, you and your family will need to catch some sort of transporation. To ensure your kids are safe in that Uber or bus, you either have 2 not-so-great choices:
1) You can haul your booster seat around with you, which typically is not feasible since they're so large, or
2) pray you don't get in an accident and strap your small child into the backseat of a taxi without a booster seat at all (no thanks).

Thanks to the ingenious mifold booster seat, you don't have to make compromises when it comes to your child's safety when traveling in a car or taxi.
Instead of waiting around for an Uber that might or might not have the booster seat it promises, you can carry around the tiny mifold travel booster seat in your purse or backpack and have that safety right where you need it when you need it.
On our road trip from Las Vegas to Denver, we chose to leave our car seat at home and rent a booster seat.
Even though the booster seat was smaller than her usual car seat, it was still a pain trying to carry it, three suitcases, 2 backpacks, and 2 very sleepy kids to our rental car once we got to Las Vegas.

When I first took the mifold out of the packaging, my first thought was, "No way is this safe. No way."
The small size will boggle your mind when you compare it to a traditional booster seat.
It's seriously the size of about 2 of my wallets put end to end when it's folded up.
How safe is the mifold booster seat?
After doing some research, I found out that the mifold portable car seat is just as safe as a traditional booster seat while providing a compact booster seat for ease of transport.
In fact, it meets or exceeds car seat safety standards in the U.S., Canada, and Europe.
This is major news for any family who travels a lot with their young kids and is constantly moving or renting booster seats!

How does the mifold booster seat compare to a traditional booster seat?
Instead of moving the child up to the height of an adult strap like a traditional booster does, the mifold portable booster seat moves the shoulder and lap belts lower to ensure your child is safe.
The adjustment process in this car seat alternative is easy and does not require me to deal with latches or additional straps or contorting myself in odd positions to get the tension correct.
You thread the lapbelt through the red prongs on either side of the base and click the belt in.
You then ensure the correct placement of the shoulder harness with the attached clasp: adjust the clasp height and snap.
And that's it.
Your kid is ready to go!
For daily use, we keep our daughter in a car seat with a 5-point harness, but she's big enough (by weight and height) to use a booster seat as well.
We’ve used the mifold on several long road trips since we got it, and the mifold is SO much easier to transport than a traditional seat.
Because of its compact size, it’s the best booster seat for airplane travel, too. It will slip right into your carr-on!
